What does Evidence Timeline help me do?
Evidence Timeline helps you upload records, review AI-assisted summaries, build an editable chronology, connect events to supporting files, and export an Evidence Timeline Report.
How do I create an account?
Use the Create Free Account button, verify your email, and then create your first case workspace from the dashboard.
Where should I start if my records are scattered?
Start with the files you already have, such as messages, PDFs, photos, receipts, or audio. You can add more evidence and adjust dates as the timeline becomes clearer.
Creating and Managing Cases
What is a case workspace?
A case workspace keeps evidence files, AI-assisted summaries, timeline events, review items, and report exports together for one situation.
Can I edit case details after creating a case?
Yes. Case information, timeline entries, evidence labels, and AI-assisted summaries can be reviewed and corrected as your records become more complete.
Uploading and Organizing Evidence
What file types can I upload?
Basic and Premium users can upload supported screenshots, images, PDFs, documents, and audio files. AI processing depends on available AI credits.
What should I do if an upload or summary fails?
Try again with a smaller or clearer file. If the issue continues, contact support with the file type and what happened.
How should I label evidence?
Use clear labels that describe the date, source, and subject without adding unnecessary sensitive details to filenames.
AI-Assisted Processing and Review
Can I correct an AI-generated summary?
Yes. AI-assisted summaries and timeline suggestions should be reviewed by you and corrected when dates, names, amounts, or descriptions are inaccurate.
Does AI review happen automatically after evidence processing?
When evidence processing finishes and enough AI credits are available, Evidence Timeline can update the case review automatically using the newly analyzed information.
Does Evidence Timeline treat AI conclusions as facts?
No. AI output is an organizational aid. You remain responsible for reviewing and correcting summaries, dates, and timeline entries.
Timelines and Evidence Timeline Reports
What is an Evidence Timeline Report?
It is an export that organizes case information, chronology, AI-assisted summaries, citations, and supporting evidence. It does not authenticate evidence or provide legal advice.
Can I share an exported report with an attorney?
You may download the report and choose whether to share it with an attorney or another appropriate professional.
Can I change timeline events before exporting?
Yes. Review and edit timeline entries before exporting so the report reflects the records accurately.
Account, Billing, and AI Usage
How do I upgrade to Premium?
Click the Basic badge or upgrade option in your account area, then follow the Stripe Checkout steps.
What does Premium include?
Premium includes 500,000 AI credits per billing period. Basic and Premium users can use the same product features when they have enough AI credits.
Can I buy more AI credits?
Yes. AI Boost adds 25,000 non-expiring AI credits for $4.99. Existing boost balances are not reduced when future boost amounts change.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. If billing portal access is available in the app, use it to manage or cancel your subscription. Otherwise, contact support.

Is Evidence Timeline legal advice?
No. Evidence Timeline helps organize and summarize user-provided information, but it does not provide legal advice or replace an attorney.
Does Evidence Timeline authenticate evidence or decide admissibility?
No. Evidence Timeline does not authenticate evidence, determine admissibility, or promise legal outcomes.
Why do I need to verify my email?
Email verification helps protect your account and makes sure important account and billing messages go to the correct person.
